Oops!

So, my great plan to get up 30 minutes early bombed today! Yes...I forgot to turn my alarm on! Oops!
Despite the fact that tomorrow is Saturday and I'd love to sleep in, I am going for attempt #2!
The good news is, I have been consistently spending at least 10 minutes in the Bible each morning. I have really enjoyed it! I find that it is a super great way for me to start my day. It gives me that pep, you know, the one that I told you I usually lack in the mornings! Isaiah 40:28-31 was one of the verses that stood out to me. It made me realize (something I already knew, but wasn't doing anything about) when I go to the Lord in my weakness, I can have faith that He will give me the strength to get through my day!
"Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31
I'm so grateful for God's promise that when we call on Him, He will be there! He even cares about the little things, but He can only pour out His blessings if we go to Him! So, I'm going to do my best to stick with this new "reset" in my life and faithfully start my day with God...hopefully starting it 30 minutes earlier. :)
